Selva 4 is a 72" x 24" mixed media bas relief on wood panel in a deep earthy terracotta lime wash paint. It is framed in a white oak floater frame. French cleat included for easy hanging.
The Selva collection captures the elegance, rhythm, and vitality of palm leaves swaying in the winds. The works draw directly from the textures, curves, and layered geometries of palm fronds, translated into fluid lines, organic patterns, and shifting shadows. Each piece conveys motion, as if the leaves themselves are caught mid-dance with the breeze. Repeating arcs and layered transparencies suggest gusts of wind, while cascading lines mimic the way fronds bend and stretch.
