Little Moondance is an extra-small bas-relief carved from wood and painted in soft lime. Extremely thin, delicate curves sweep across the surface, appearing to dance and blow in the wind. Their fine raised edges cast deep, shifting shadows that create a sense of continual movement. At the center, a large round moonlike form anchors the composition with calm, gentle presence.
